April has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and is the principal and lead Wealth Manager of the Heart Wealth Management Group. She is focused on building and maintaining wealth for successful individuals and their families. She and her team guide their clients through significant life transitions such as retirement, the loss of a spouse, the birth of a child, a change in career or the sale of a business. She helps each client clarify their goals and understand how she can help keep them on a realistic and achievable track to get there.

April and her team also help clients navigate the complexities of cross-border investment management and other financial planning challenges. Her spectrum of financial planning experience enables her to serve a wide range of clients, including retirees, business owners, geologists, engineers, legal, medical and dental professionals, consultants, senior executives and others.

April is a Fellow of CSI (FCSI®), which is the highest honour and most senior credential in Canadian financial services. It is reserved solely for an elite group of experienced financial services professionals that meet the highest standards for advanced education, ethical conduct, industry experience and peer endorsement. April was awarded the 2018 Woman of Distinction Award for Raymond James Ltd.; this award recognizes women advisors who have served as a role-model to other advisors in the industry.

April has a bachelor of commerce degree from Royal Roads University. As an advisor with Raymond James Ltd., she is licensed as a Registered Representative with the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, and she advises clients who live in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Nova Scotia. As an advisor with Raymond James (USA) Ltd., registered as a General Securities Representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and a Registered Investment Adviser Representative with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the United States, she is able to advise clients who live in Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Texas and Washington in the United States.

April also holds life and health insurance licenses in British Columbia and Alberta.
