Pam has over fifteen years of experience as a Financial Advisor. Before joining Raymond James, she worked at a bank owned financial services firm for over 7 years. In addition to completing many courses through the Canadian Securities Institute, being IIROC (Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada) and insurance licensed in BC and Alberta, Pam has obtained the Divorce Financial Specialist Certificate, and is also a Certified Professional Consultant on Aging. She also regularly attends the Elder Friendly Community Network meetings. In addition to her typical duties as an Advisor, Pam has a passion for educating and hosts seminars on topics such as estate planning, effective charitable giving, downsizing and retirement planning. She has also designed classes and held events for women to help them become more comfortable and confidently deal with their finances.
Pam brings to her clients the life experience that marriage, motherhood, raising two children and dealing with aging parents offer. Due to her recent personal experience with both of her parents passing away, she specializes in estate planning and longevity. She knows about the unique issues that folks well into their retirement must face. She has also assisted some of her clients and their families with medicate assistance in dying. As a result of this life experience, her clients readily relate to the practical wisdom behind her recommendations.
